Ketty was an a-ma-zing host, picked us up at the airport, supported us in every need during our stay, provided freshly made herbal tea from her own garden. Kids chair, toys, cot and cutlery were provided. Ketty lives next door which makes communicating very convenient.
The House: a comfortable two storey semi detached house in a row a minute walk away from Kad Farang mall. This makes it a great combination between convenience (supermarket, Starbucks, restaurants, food court and night market very closeby and transport is easily arranged with Grab) and waking up with the sounds of roosters (one side of the house has a bit of noise from the road but nothing too intrusive). With three bedrooms and a sofa bed in a separate room and three bathrooms it could sleep up to three couples plus one solo traveller. We were very comfortable with 2 couples and 2 small children. We liked the lawn / garden and patio.
Can not recommend this house, Ketty and Chiang Mai highly enough especially for families visiting Chiang Mai. There are several nice playground cafes and a great farm nearby (Nic’s, Cup Fine Coffee, Triplets and Ginger Farm - 5-15 minutes) and getting to sights takes 15-20 minutes (old town, airport, some of the temples, flora park,). We all Loved Chiang Mai too - great place to visit with kids.
We are on a year long trip around the world, so we are staying in a lot of different apartments, and this was one of our best picks. Very big house with all needed amenities, close by to a wonderful shopping center (Kad Farang Village) and best of all, the host Kingkaeo is super nice and practically made sure every day that we're good, helped us plan trips around Chiangmai and even invited us to dinner. Don't think twice and book this place.
