So this is a great apartment; I thoroughly enjoyed the week I spent in it. The view from the 17th floor apartment is incredible, perhaps its main selling point. The other great thing about the apartment is its great location on the edge of Laureles: really close to Exito grocery store, 8-minute walk to Estadio metro station, bars of La Setenta right at your doorstep, and easy walk to all the great restaurants and cafes in heart of Laureles. (There is also a great Lebanese restaurant right across the street from the apartment building.) The apartment is well-appointed, and it is a plus to have a washing machine right there in your apartment. The wifi was solid. The roof “terrace” was a bit of a letdown: it is really just an unfinished roof but the views are excellent.

Very clean and comfortable space. The building is modern and in a good location. The 24-hour receptionists (especially Victoria and Claudia) are professional and informative and also provide security. Yes, it is a lively area. Most nights (other than Sunday and Monday), the nightlife on the streets continues til quite late, and is a source of noise, but the good windows make it more of a low roar (except for the normal car alarms, which I refer to as the South American Continental Anthem--no window can drown out those disgusting things). But I use Mack's silicone earplugs, and had no problem sleeping. Many good restaurants in the area--Medellin is a beautiful and clean city. The Metro is modern, clean, and well-managed. The cable-trams are an integral part of the system--make sure you ride on at least one for the views. My work and travels have taken be to 110+ countries, and I have never seen a better public transportation system. You won't be disappointed with Kathy's place.

Great place to stay, I’ve been to Colombia three times and stayed twice in the same apartment. Very clean, have everything you need close by and the view from the room and the living room it’s super gorgeous. Can’t ask for more. It’s a million dollar view.
